![]() We had a tremendous showing on Saturday night at the Red Hook Crit 5k (which turned out to be a 3.3 mile race)! The night kicked off with the women's team taking home the women's team title - highlighted in front by our own Leigh Anne Sharek kicking hard against former World Champs qualifier Rolanda Bell for the individual title, finishing just .5 sec behind in 2nd place also with Rebeka Stowe just 6 sec back finishing 4th over all. Next the men's squad showed their own dominance by placing 6 runners in the top 16 - highlighted by a podium finish by Daniel Winn taking 3rd over all with our big pack of "B's" just behind going 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 16th to complete the Brooklyn Track Club sweep of the team titles! I am very proud of the efforts by all of our runners on Saturday night especially with the hot temps and the long course, Congratulations! Special shout out to those who returned to race the Crit after finishing the Boston Marathon last Monday (Emmi Aguillard), the London Marathon last Saturday (Chris Chavez), and to Cheryl who raced a marathon in Kentucky on Saturday. Crit Recap: 39 racers overall from Brooklyn Track Club
