Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ned’s passion for running began in High School where he helped lead his team to two state championships in Cross Country. Ned continued his athletic career at the NCAA Division I University of California, Berkeley in Cross Country and Track & Field where he specialized in the 3000m steeplechase. After graduating with a BA in Political Economics, Ned decided to take a break from competitive running to work in commercial and television production.
After a move to NYC, Ned was introduced to BKTC where his passion for running was quickly rekindled. Following a careful transition out of the entertainment industry, Ned focused his energy on becoming an active BKTC member and has since become a coach with Mile High Run Club.
Ned is a dedicated student and teacher of the sport, and his experience and relentless positive spirit equips him to inspire anyone and everyone around him. You can find him leading classes at Mile High, on the trails with Brooklyn Trail Club and cheering (or running) alongside his teammates every Tuesday Night!
