ABOUT BKTC
Brooklyn Track Club was founded in 2016 to bring an annul calendar of shared training experiences and exciting events to the local running community. Built on a bedrock of weekly track sessions and long runs, BKTC has grown from a small group of friends to over 500 members who share the efforts and celebrate each others performances near and far.
BKTC Members touch almost every neighborhood, industry, ability and background New York City has to offer, this kaleidoscope of people grows stronger with every new member. Aside from a diverse community, BKTC is also the home to of one of the most competitive Club teams in NYC annually competing to win their NYRR Group Club Points races and sending athletes to USATF Championship events and Olympic Trials Qualifiers. Come run with us! |
BKTC CharitiesWe are fortunate to have access to sports as adults in this beautiful city. Unfortunately there are still many children and young adults who do not have this access.
As part of the BKTC mission we are committed to giving back in order to help bring athletics and sports to our local underserved communities. A piece of this commitment is manifested in giving to charities who support these initiatives in NYC. Each quarter we provide our members with an event or experience centered around a local charity. BKTC matches the first $1000 raised. |
Become a Run Coach
We all love to cheer for our teammates and fellow runners to achieve their best efforts. Has that overwhelming excitement and passion for sport ever made you think of becoming a Run Coach?
The thought of Coaching might seem intimidating, I know it was for me when I first started, but like challenging yourself to a new goal it is worth exploring and if it sticks, it will bring a level of fulfillment you never imagined. Becoming a Run Coach will also likely create new opportunities for anyone who works hard to serve others through one-on-one coaching and/or community engagement with friends and clients. Stay tuned for our first ever BKTC Run Coaching Course coming in August 2020. |
